The 2007 NFPA 13D provides the latest requirements for the installation of life-saving residential sprinklers for family dwellings and manufactured homes. Coverage includes system design, water supplies, equipment requirements, as well as sprinkler location, spacing and position.

• Added spacing and obstruction rules addressing sloped ceilings, ceiling pockets, ceiling fans, and kitchen cabinets
• New installation, design, and acceptance requirements for pumps
